ABOUT BROOKE

Creating art allows Brooke to show her truest colors all the while bringing her immense joy. Through music, art, and theater Brooke is able to learn more about herself and others. She feels the most connected to the rest of the world when she is singing. Brooke's passion for musical theater sparked at the young age on nine years old when she saw her best friend performing in a show. Since then, Brooke has been performing in musicals, plays, song cycles, and concerts as often as possible. Performing is her passion. 

Brooke has been fortunate to be a part of Once Upon a Mattress (Swing) at the Arvada Center; Oklahoma (Ado Annie Carnes), High School Musical On Stage (Ensemble/U/S Sharpay),Crazy for You (Patsy/ Irene U/S), and Cinderella (Ensemble) at The Candlelight,  A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder (Evangeline Barley/ Phoebe U/S) and Airness (Nina U/S, Cannibal Queen U/S) at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, and multiple productions throughout her college career including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy Park), The Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty), Company (Kathy), Chicago (Squish/June), Guys and Dolls (Hotbox Dancer), and more. In 2021, Brooke was awarded 3rd place in the National CS Classical University Competition. Brooke has also made it to the quarter finals in the national NATS competition. She won 2nd place and 5th place in the classical and musical theater categories in the regional NATS 2020 competition. In 2019 she placed 1st in the regional NATS classical competition in the Treble Voices category. She has also been a finalist in the CU Schmidt vocal competition and received the “Broadway Bound Award”. 
Brooke graduated with high honors in May of 2023 from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Vocal Performance, a B.A. in Communication, a business minor and a leadership certificate. During her time at CU Boulder she studied with Dr. Abigail Nims. Music is something that brings honest, true happiness as well as curiosity to Brooke’s life, thus she can’t imagine a world without music flooding her ears every day. Brooke aims to encourage creativity in all aspects of life and hopes that the art she makes inspires beneficial change. She is so grateful for the opportunities she’s had thus far in her career and can't wait to see what her future holds in this industry.
